Your CPR Card Expired. Now What?

CPR and BLS certifications are valid for two years. But research shows skill retention starts fading within a few months, which is exactly why renewing every 2 years is recommended.

We offer the blended option for renewal, since is faster than your first class

A blended class allows you to complete the theory at home at your pace and meet in person to focus on hands-on practice and what changed in the latest guidelines.

What if it lapsed a while ago?

Policies vary by certifying body, but generally if your card is more than 30 days expired you will take the full course again. The good news: it will feel familiar, and the repetition is the point. Muscle memory they call it.

Healthcare employers usually require a current card with zero gaps, so set a reminder for 60 days before your expiration. Better yet, book the renewal the same day you get your new card. Future you says thanks.
